How Artworks Are Sent

Ochre / Kimberley artworks are shipped on canvas or linen, already stretched, ready to hang unless stated otherwise.

Acrylic artworks are shipped on canvas or linen un-stretched, rolled up in a cardboard tube unless stated otherwise.

These artworks will need to be stretched on a stretcher board before hanging.

This can be done by nearly any picture framer (highly recommended) or you can DIY if you’re confident in your handiwork.

There are numerous "how to" videos on YouTube showing you how to achieve this.

Artwork Description

This highly detailed traditional dot painting is from the Desert Wildflower Series by Grace Brown. It is painted on quality Natural Raw Linen.

Australia is blessed with thousands of species of wildflowers and an incredible diversity that is matched by few places in the world. In most cultures around the world, the wildflower represents joy. Did you know that Australia is home to over 24,000 species of weird and wonderful native plants!

Western Australia alone has more than 12,000 species of native wildflowers, more than 60% of which can only be found here and nowhere else on earth. The six-month flowering season begins in June in the Pilbara, Goldfields and along the Coral Coast. By September, it moves south and reaches Perth, finishing with a flurry in October and November throughout the South West.

This painting series by Grace Brown was inspired to show that you are not alone and there is beauty all around you. We are all wildflowers.

The painting is based on her time in the Australian desert. In silence, Grace loves to feel the breeze on her face while gazing at all the many different wild flowers swaying gracefully in the breeze, while watching the sun go down.
