Joylene Reid Napangardi

A Pintupi artist from the painting lineage of Walangkura Napurrula and Kalara Tjapangarti. Her wider practice carries strong Western Desert cultural knowledge and relationships with Kintore and Tjukurla. After growing up at the Ikuntji settlement of Haasts Bluff, in 1981 she returned from the community to Tjukurla and eventually settled in Kintore with her husband and children.

Joylene is a Pintupi woman from Tjiturulnga Walungurru (Kintore), an area west of Alice Springs. She grew up at the Ikuntji settlement of Haasts Bluff before returning to Tjukurla and later settling in Kintore with her husband and children.
