Nicole was born in 1995 at Soapy Bore Community, which is located in the Utopia region of the Northern Territory. Soapy Bore is on the Sandover River and is approximately 210km north of Alice Springs.

Nicole is a member of the famous Kngwarreye family, which includes International artist, the late Emily Kngwarreye who is recognised as the most famous female indigenous artist in Australia.

Nicole has been painting for 6 years and has a wonderful career in front of her. She and her husband live at Soapy Bore with their 2 young children.

This painting represents the Wild Flowers (Alpeyt) of the acacia plant. The Indigenous women from the central desert regions collect the flowers as well as the seeds, leaves and pods from the acacia plant for both traditional bush medicine and food.
