How Artworks Are Sent
Ochre / Kimberley artworks are shipped on canvas or linen, already stretched, ready to hang unless stated otherwise.
Acrylic artworks are shipped on canvas or linen un-stretched, rolled up in a cardboard tube unless stated otherwise.
These artworks will need to be stretched around a wooden frame before hanging
This can be done by nearly any picture framer (highly recommended) or you can DIY if you’re confident in your handiwork.
There are numerous "how to" videos on YouTube showing you how to achieve this.

Artwork Description
Relating to the passing of a Tiwi person, the Pukamani pole (or Tutini) is a ceremonial carving/sculpture positioned around the grave site of the deceased that tells the story of, and celebrates, the person’s life.
The burial ceremonies of the Tiwi, based on the Pukamani of the mythical man Purrukapali are by far the most important events in ceremonial life. These ceremonies allow full expression of grief and provide at the same time a complete cultural outlet for philosophical beliefs, through music, art and dance.
