Florrie Watson Napangardi was born c. 1950 in Mt Doreen, north west of Yuendumu. After her father passed away when she was a young girl her family walked into Mt Doreen Station. Later she moved to Yuendumu where she lived until her first husband passed away. She married her second husband, Jimmy Brown Tjampitjinpa, and now resides in Kiwirrkura. Florrie has been painting since the mid 80’s and is the sister of internationally renowned artist, Judy Watson Napangardi.
