Artlandish Aboriginal Art Gallery offers a Lay-by / Layaway payment program to assist customers in obtaining that special piece.

 

We realise that sometimes “right now” isn’t the ideal time to make a purchase but the thought of missing out on that one of a kind Aboriginal painting makes it difficult to say no.

 

Well now you can have the best of both worlds with our simple payment program that allows you to obtain that favourite piece of art without breaking the bank.

 

Customers can take advantage of our option to pay the Aboriginal artwork off over a number of months without the risk that the piece may be sold in the meantime. This gives you complete flexibility and enables you to relax knowing that you have plenty of time to pay for your favourite painting.

Easy steps to use Lay-by:

    1. Once you’ve found your artwork simply select the radio button that says Lay-by just above the add to cart button.
    2. Choose & select one of the lay-by options shown.
    3. Click “Add to Cart” if you’re using a credit card or the yellow button below to pay via Paypal
    4. Pay the deposit & checkout as normal.

 

How to use lay-by / layaway

Artlandish Lay-By / Layaway Payment program terms and conditions:

 

  • The maximum term of the lay-by / layaway payment option is 12 months from the date the deposit is made.
  • There are 3 plan options which are revealed when you click the lay-by radio button. A minimum 10% deposit is required before the goods can be placed on lay-by.
  • Part payments are due monthly and you will receive a reminder email each month asking you to make a payment.
  • The monthly payments requested are dependant on the plan you selected.
  • If for any reason the final payment is not made, the customer (you) may choose to select alternate goods to the value of the amount already paid.
  • Once final payment has been received the goods will be dispatched immediately.
  • If on receiving the goods purchased through the Artlandish Lay-by / Layaway payment program the customer is not satisfied in any way with the goods, the customer may exchange the goods for other items up to equal value of the original item purchased through the payment program.
  • In this event all return shipping charges are to be borne by the customer and as all goods are the responsibility of the customer until they are received by us we highly recommend that you insure the goods to be returned to the value of the purchase price. This can be done through your general insurance company or at the time of shipment via the courier company.

  • If you wish to pay the Lay-by off earlier you may do so without receiving any penalties or fees.
  • Entering into the Artlandish payment program is a legally binding contract and all parties need to be aware of this.

     

  • Artlandish may cancel the agreement if:

    • the customer has breached a term of the agreement (such as missing a scheduled payment)
    • we are no longer engaged in trade or commerce, or
    • the goods are no longer available due to circumstances outside of your control (i.e. damaged in storage etc).

     

  • Artlandish will give customers every opportunity to service the agreement & cancelation would only be used as a last resort.
  • You may cancel the lay-by agreement at any time and we will refund you all monies paid to that point minus the termination fee.
  • The termination fee is 25% of the value of the artwork. This fee covers storage + administration charges related to the agreement but is mostly made up of the costs associated with having a unique one off item unable to be purchased for an extended period of time and the associated costs to advertise the artwork again.
