Born in Alice Springs in 1954, June attended the local Convent School where she was introduced to art and encouraged by the teachers. She is part of a well known painting family and learned by watching Elder artists painting in the Alice Springs and Chinaman’s Creek areas.
Her medium is acrylic and her depictions of the bush tucker of her desert region are accurate, beautifully executed and invariably accompanied by a detailed description of the subject matter. Her sister Joan and brothers Reggie and Rex are also established artists.
June has maintained a dedicated family lifestyle and is delighted to pursue her painting career for the benefit of her children and grandchildren, whilst bringing to the wider audience of the world of art exceedingly beautiful paintings.
