Raised throughout the Northern Territory and Central Desert regions, Justin was encouraged from a young age by his family to develop his artistic talents while maintaining a strong connection to culture and Country. From an early age, Justin was captivated by the distinctive sounds of the didgeridoo, an instrument that has remained central to his artistic and cultural expression. The rhythms and movements found within his music continue to influence his visual art, creating a strong connection between sound, story and landscape. Justin's artworks reflect the colours, textures and rhythms of the Australian landscape. Through vibrant earth tones, sweeping forms and intricate patterns, he captures the movement and spirit of the desert environment, expressing a deep connection to his homeland and the stories that have been passed down through generations. Inspired by both the sights and sounds of the Australian outback, Justin's paintings celebrate Country, culture and identity. His work often explores themes of landscape, hunting and gathering traditions, and Dreaming stories, presented through a distinctive style that is both contemporary and deeply rooted in tradition. An internationally recognised and collected artist, Justin is also an accomplished didgeridoo performer, teacher and cultural ambassador. His works are held in private collections throughout Australia and overseas and have been exhibited in galleries and museums across Europe and the United States.
